Our Compounds

From jointing to coating and sealing, our selection of quality compounds will provide a finish that lasts.  From wet area sealing to toppings and base coats, there is something in the range for virtually every plastering application.

Gyprock base coats

Gyprock's collection of standard base coats is a range of products that "set" through a chemical reaction rather than drying through the evaporation of water. This results in stronger joints with controlled working times after mixing. The specialist wet area base coat is a premixed drying type of compound and includes:

  • Gyprock® Base Coat 45
  • Gyprock® Base Coat 60
  • Gyprock® Base Coat 90
  • Gyprock® Ultra-Base 60
  • Gyprock® Wet Area Base Coat
  • Gyprock toppings

Gyprock offers a range of topping compounds with different weights. The lightweight products provide excellent coverage and are particularly suited to machine application while the heavyweight compounds are ideal for hand application and renovation work over existing plasterboard. They are all compounds that dry through evaporation. The product range includes:

  • Gyprock Ultra-Top™
  • Gyprock Easy-Finish™
  • Gyprock Jointmaster™

Gyprock all-purpose

Gyprock's range of all-purpose compounds can be used for all three coats in the jointing system. These are specially formulated to combine the strength of a base coat with the fine finish of a topping compound. They are all compounds that dry through evaporation, and they include:

  • Gyprock® Total Coat-Lite
  • Gyprock Easy-Flow™
  • Gyprock® Pre-Mixed Total Joint Cement
  • Gyprock Ultra AP™
